Housing Visions was organized and is operated for the purpose of
providing relief to the poor, distressed and underprivileged, and for the
promotion of the public good through programs to lessen neighborhood tensions,
eliminate prejudice and discrimination and to combat community deterioration in
urban areas.

- To significantly improve the quality of housing and the quality of
life in its targeted neighborhoods.
- To ensure the permanent availability of quality affordable housing for low-income families.
- To create a model which can be replicated in other areas.
- To cooperate with other neighborhood groups, governmental agencies, and others interested in improving housing for low-income
families.
- To assist in the revitalization of other neighborhoods in the City of Syracuse and elsewhere, as directed and authorized by the Board
of Directors.
- To provide consulting services to other organizations interested in providing low-income housing and/or revitalizing other
neighborhoods.
