Cortland Crown Homes consists of 30 units of scattered site quality affordable rental housing in a critical mass that were substantially rehabilitated and newly constructed along the City of Cortland's South Main Street gateway. The project was part of the City of Cortland's comprehensive revitalization plan to respond to a priority need for providing quality affordable housing. The Cortland Crown Homes development continues to have a lasting positive impact on the city.

Six substandard buildings were substantially rehabilitated and 4 buildings were demolished with 2 additional newly constructed buildings. This neighborhood revitalization effort has and will continue to change the streetscape of the western side of the South Main Street neighborhood. This project provided the South Main Street Gateway in the City of Cortland a much needed facelift, reversed deteriorating economic conditions and provided economic stability for the neighborhood.
