Syracuse — Visions For Change, Inc., a non-profit affiliate organization of Housing Visions that leads the National Circles Campaign in New York State, has been awarded a grant of $45,000 from the Central New York Community Foundation (CNYCF). The grant will support another staff position needed to expand the Circles program, which helps low-income individuals to eliminate the barriers that keep them in poverty.
The receiving of this grant requires Visions For Change to submit a progress report and final report regarding the success of the project.
In a letter confirming the award, John Eberle, Vice President of Grants and Community Initiatives at CNYCF states, “We are happy to be a part of this program and will be interested in hearing the results.”
Founded in 1927, The Central New York Community Foundation connects the generosity of donors with community needs by making grants to organizations working to enhance the quality of life of those who live and work in Central New York.
